Meet Our Instructors

Serena ~ Program Director

Serena was a volunteer childbirth educator at the PRC for over five years and now serves as the program director. She also facilitates the Teen Series. She received her childbirth educator training from International Childbirth Education Association in 2007 and Lamaze in 2011 and is currently certified through Lamaze International. Additional training includes Love and Logic, Early Childhood Made Fun and Evidence Based Birth's Instructor training. ISerena is also a trained and experienced birth doula. She and her three children live in Stanwood.

Kathy ~ Volunteer Instructor

Kathy is our H.U.G. Your Baby workshop instructor and our Thursday morning's New Moms Group facilitator. She is a postpartum doula and childbirth educator, dedicated to educating and supporting families. She is the mother of three grown boys and resides in Snohomish County with her husband, Fred.

Megan ~ Volunteer Instructor

Megan has been an instructor at the PRC for the past 5 years and has trained many of our our current educators. She is our ICEA certified, Tuesday night EYM instructor. Megan also facilitates all our Love and Logic classes and prenatal workshops. Megan is a trained birth doula and midwife's assistant, which enables her to support and inspire many families. She lives in Arlington with her husband Eric, where she home schools their two children.


Stacia ~ Volunteer Instructor

Stacia is our Monday night childbirth educator and has been serving at PRC for 5 years.  Her enthusiasm and desire to empower families make her an awesome instructor. She is a communication manager for a local software company and lives with her husband and their two children in Snohomish.

Denise ~ Volunteer Instructor

Denise has been with us the longest and has been teaching classes at Expecting Miracles for over 10 years! Her stamina comes from her love for our ministry and the families we serve. She lives with her husband, in Everett but travels all over the country to visit her grandkids.
